Candy corn was originally called Chicken Feed.

After what has arguably been one of the hardest years of the past two generations, everyone could use a good chuckle once in a while. According to Dr. Sivan Finkel, “Even forcing a fake smile can legitimately reduce stress and lower your heart rate.”

So here are a few stories to brighten things up a bit!

Porta-Potty On the Run!

As if 2020 couldn’t get any weirder! Over the course of one year, the world has erupted in a torrent of chaos. It has experienced wildfires, locust swarms, riots, explosions, bush fires, and worst of all, a pandemic

Now, it appears that a lone Porta-Potty has decided that it has had enough. In early September 2020, a Porta-Potty was sighted being blown down Route 66 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the video, captured by stopped motorists, a giant gust of wind can be seen carrying the small portable toilet down the decommissioned road at a surprising speed. According to Huffpost, “No injuries were reported and it was unclear if anyone was inside.”

Phone Stealing Monkey?

During September in Malaysia, a 20 year-old man woke up to find his phone stolen. The case was lying on the floor but the phone itself was missing. Using his brother’s phone, he decided to track it down. He found it caked in mud in a jungle behind his home.

Returning home with his device, the man’s uncle started making jokes that perhaps a monkey took selfies with it. When he opened his camera roll, to his disbelief, he found that exactly that had happened. Plastered all over were pictures and videos of the culprit. These pictures and images can be viewed here.

“I Need My ID Fixed.”

When renewing her license, Jade Dodd thought everything was going just fine. However, a few weeks later, when she received her license, in the place where there should’ve been a picture of her, it was an image of a chair!

According to the DMV, it was the last image saved to her profile, and was taken completely by accident. The issue was quickly resolved. All parties involved found the incident humorous.
