Students can enjoy Eno-ing around Sartell

Enoing is such a relaxing and fun thing to do when it’s nice out, I suggest all nature loving SHS students get outside.

I really suggest to do this if you need some time to yourself and to get away from the normal stresses of life. There are many places around Sartell that make Enoing that much better. I will be sharing all of the cool Enoing locations I have found myself in.

The first place I find myself Enoing is Pinecone Park in Sartell right off of Pinecone Rd

in the middle of Sartell. They have soccer fields, a dog park and many trees to find a

place to hang your Eno. I will warn you though, it can be buggy during the spring time. It is a very fun and close location though, which makes it a go-to spot for me and my friends. I rate this place a ⅘.

The next place I like to go is Watab park in Sartell. This is right off of River Road just past the River Boat Depot. They have many large trees spread far apart from each other so it is a nice place to go with a group of friends. They also have the creek right by and the bridge to walk over and go for a little hike. If you have younger siblings you could also bring them with because they have a park and a new added basketball court if you like to play. I would rate this place a ⅖ .

This next place is one of my favorites to go to in the summer during the day. It is George Frederick Park in St.Cloud on University Drive past St. Cloud State and all the way at the end of the road.

This place has many many trees to hang your Enos in, and they also have so many walking trails that lead to a small quarry. If you are there on a hot summer day, you might just want to jump in but make sure to look out for rocks close to the edge of the water. I would rate this place a ⅗.

The last place that I like to visit is the Quarries in Waite Park. This place has many swimming quarries that you can go into and cliffs to jump

0ff of. They also have many trails that have beautiful views to see. They also have pretty sitting areas with views that are up high overlooking the park. This place is fun to visit all seasons, in the winter you can go snowshoeing, cross country skiing or just a little snow hike. I would rate this place a ⅘.

If you want to buy an Eno you can find them on the Dicks Sporting Goods website. You can also find them at the local Scheels or Dicks Sporting Goods stores. They have single size enos or even double size,
you can go with your friends and share. There are also cool accessories you can get to add with it like a bug net and different flags you can hang above to add a little pizazz.
