A look at the home of the Sartell volleyball team.

Sartell volleyball started its 2020 season this fall on September 28, 2020, after being pushed off to spring due to COVID.

The Minnesota State High School League voted yes 14-4 to bring back fall high school volleyball this year. There will be an 11 week season with 14 matches starting on October 8 where the Sartell volleyball team will be traveling to Alexandria to go head to head.

Last year the girls beat Alexandria every time they played them, even to go to section finals. The girls have already been practicing for about three weeks now.

Coaching varsity this year will be Sarah Hornseth as the head coach and Rachel Smith as the assistant coach. They coached the girls to a victory season last year as they only lost two games the whole season. Those losses were against Hutchinson and Moorhead.

Some health guidelines that will be followed are that there can not be any spectators allowed at indoor events at school facilities.
