Avengers: Endgame: not the best but not a terrible movie in any way.

Avengers: Endgame

After the tragic and unresolved ending of Infinity War, the Marvel fans were excited for how the next movie, Avengers Endgame, would wrap up the generation. Millions had been lost due to Thanos’ snap including many of our own heroes. In this movie, the remaining heroes travel back in time to collect all of the infinity stones to redo Thanos’ snap and bring everybody back.

While this movie was necessary to wrap up the happenings of Infinity War, I felt it was quite boring in comparison. There were many dull and slow moments of just conversation and no action, and it was quite difficult for me to stay invested in the movie. While it tied up many loose odds and ends, Endgame, in my opinion, was not as good as Infinity War.

Not only that, but Endgame was very lengthy. I felt that there were some parts of the movie that could have been cut to make it shorter while still keeping the plot. The movie really started getting interesting about halfway through, and even then, it had moments where I was bored.

While I like the idea of traveling back in time, the way it was addressed was a bit confusing. I would have liked more explanation of how it was possible, and how the Quantum Realm fit into it, but instead I was left confused.

This movie was clearly needed and wanted by the MCU fans, but in my opinion, it fell short of my expectations, especially after how amazing Infinity War turned out to be. Despite this, it was still a good movie, and I look forward to more Marvel movies in the future.
