Find ways to relax with self-care
We are really bored with this stay at home order, and it is really important to fulfill your day. Most of us have already gotten the house chores done like laundry, picking up things that go in their rightful places, meal prep, etc. Now it is time to relax, and if you are anything like me, this can be a challenge especially if you are used to being on the go all of the time. A good way to start off your day is with some cinnamon rolls to get your day of relaxation rolling.

After eating your big meal of cinnamon rolls, it might be nice to take a bath and just relax and just reflect on yourself. Think about how you can be a better person and know your self-worth. It is so important to grow as a person, and it makes it so much easier when you know how to do so.

I also don’t mean to hop on the trend of trying to stay fit during this whole quarantine time but on the other hand, it is too nice outside to do nothing with the weather. What I personally love to do is rollerblading and you can still do so with some of your friends, but remember to stay six feet apart. Being outside when it is sunny does wonders for your mood according to Health. Harvard.edu. Physical activity has been shown to relax and cheer people up, so if being outside replaces one’s bad habits into healthy ones then it also might mean more smiles and laughter.

After all the excitement of being outside, it is a good thing to keep your face clean. I personally love peel-off masks because it is so satisfying to rip it off and feel your face not be so stiff anymore.

Step one, you want to throw the container of your face mask into some warm water so it is not so cold when you put it on your face.
Step two, dampen your face with warm water to open your pores.
Step three, apply the mask to your face and put it on as even as you can. ( Do not get it close to your eyes and keep it away from your eyebrows and hairline. If you accidentally get it in those places use a wet washcloth and it should come out right away.)
Step four, wait until it is all dry and sometimes this can take up to an hour.
Step five, peel off the mask.
Step six, any left over pieces of your mask use your washcloth and just rub off.
Step seven, ALWAYS MOISTURIZE
There is a lot more you can do with your relaxation time, but hopefully you’ve enjoyed or been inspired by some awesome tips to spend your day treating yourself with some mindfulness.
