Sartell Hockey breaks even over break vs University School of Milwaukee

The Sabres played the University School of Milwaukee in a winter break tournament.

First Period 

The first period involved lots of back and forth play. Only one goal was scored by the University School of Milwaukee. Reid Woods scored at 1:36 with even strength.

Second Period

The second period involved more goals scored. Right off the bat at 0:19 University School of Milwaukee player, Blake Carey scored at even strength. Kyler Ringgold assisted Carey in the fast scoring goal. Then again University School of Milwaukee player, Noah Eghbali, scored with an assist from players, Peter Ells and Alvin Pokel.

At 3:49 Ethan Thombs from University School of Milwaukee received a checking from behind penalty resulting in a 5:00 major and 10:00 misconduct. Then at 7:50 Ryan Zulkosky scored a power-play goal with an assist from Hayden Walters and Micheal Webster. Again at 11:57 Zulkosky scores again with assists from Josh Kern and Micheal Webster. To wrap up the period, two penalties were given. Kyler Ringgold from the University School of Milwaukee receives interference at 14:51. About a minute later Sartell player, Hayden Walters gets high sticking at 16:07.

Third Period 

The third period was calm. Sartell player, Josh Kern scores at even strength with an assist from Tory Lund at 8:43. Right, in the end, the last penalty was given to the University School of Milwaukee player, Alex Thundercloud for interference resulting in a minor penalty.

The Sabres next game will be Saturday, January 4th against St. Cloud at 2:30.
