Flooding disaster strikes Texas

The disaster that was left after the flood hit Texas.

Flooding is currently happening in Houston, Texas and surrounding counties, after tropical storm Imelda brought up to 43 inches of rain during the last part of last week. 

According to ABC News, there have been two recorded deaths as a result of the flood. The first man was from Jefferson County, he was electrocuted and later drowned while trying to move his horse to safer ground. The second man was from Harris County, he drowned while driving his van into flooded areas, and he suddenly became submerged in the water. 

Houston, Texas had over nine inches of rain making it its biggest record in the month of September, leaving residents stranded in their homes, and drivers stuck in their cars.
