Rioting Antifa?

Antifa is a group that is known for rioting at events.

Antifa is a group founded on the idea of fighting facism.  Facism is a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.  Unfortunately, Antifa is now labeled as a domestic terrorist group and has been shown on video to be handing out weapons.

Antifa originated in Europe. They aren’t exactly a group but more of an umbrella term for people who show up at marches, protests, etc. to cause havoc.

To give you an idea of what we’re talking about, let me explain one particular incident.  Earlier this year, there was an attack on the ICE facility in Washington. An active shooter with a rifle and a tank of gas planned to fire bomb the building and shoot it up. But quickly an officer shot the man down before he could do any damage. The man was an anarchist and claimed to be part of Antifa.  His name was William Van Spronsen. This attack was inspired by the idea that ICE are holding families at the border for trying to cross the border in facilities and Van Spronsen was thinking they were concentration camps.

My opinion on this group is that they are very hippocritcal. They say they are about fighting facism but when someone they don’t like or agree with tries to talk they silence them. They have become what they have tried to fight against. A very controversial Ben Shaprio tried to talk at the University of Berkeley, but Antifa showed up to ‘protest’ and they needed to expand the campus security just to make sure they don’t destroy the place.
