Thomas Gieske scores his 1,000 point
On Tuesday, February 5th2019 at Little Falls High School Sartell Senior, Thomas Gieske, scored the 1,000th point of his basketball career. Thomas is the 7thperson in Sartell High School athletic history to achieve this milestone.

When Thomas scored the last basket to reach 1,000 points, he responded with, “I felt relieved that the wait was over. I have worked long and hard on completing this goal of mine. I also felt thankful for my teammates, coaches, family, and friends for helping me along the way. I could not have done it without them.”
After Thomas graduates high school, he said, “I will be continuing my academic and basketball career at Mayville State University in North Dakota.”

The best advice Thomas gave for young athletes to become successful is, “Trust the process. If you want to be the best you have to work every day and stay locked in.”
