The famous rapper who goes by the name of 6ix9ine has appeared in the courts Monday with compelling evidence against him proving he was a part of a violent New York street gang.

6ix9ine, who was featured in the song “FEFE” by Nicki Minaj,  has gotten himself into some trouble. The court has several pieces of evidence showing that 6ix9ine and four other men were a part of the gang that goes by the name of “Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.”

While participating in this gang, the rapper committed several crimes. Some of these crimes included armed robbery, drug-trafficking, and attempts at murder. One example took place back in April when several gang members robbed a man at gunpoint while 6ix9ine appeared to be videotaping. Later in September when agents raided an apartment he had been renting, they found a backpack with an AR-15 firearm and many credit cards which had identification of the man they had robbed back in April at Time Square.

6ix9ine has spent the last year creating a huge name for himself in the music industry. He reached 15 million followers on Soundcloud and Instagram and whose single went platinum and also reached number 12 on the billboard hot 100 chart. His convictions in Monday’s hearing could potentially land him at least 25 years in prison.

Another example of 6ix9ine’s violence happened while working on his new album with Kanye West and Nicki Minaj. An argument broke out and shots were fired during the filming of their newest music video. Just moments after the rapper was put on probation he was in an altercation at a restaurant where his bodyguard also fired shots.

6ix9ine’s request for bail was denied and the prosecutors believe that they have enough substantial evidence to believe that he is a violent man.
