Apple unveiled their new products at their annual event on September 12th at the Steve Job Amphitheater in Cupertino, California.

Three new iPhones were revealed by CEO Tim Cook, the iPhone XR, XS, and XS MAX. These new phones are allegedly better, faster, bigger, and definitely will take more out of people’s wallet! Apple also announced a new Apple Watch Series 4 at the event.

So what is the difference between the new iPhones? Are they any better than all of the current phones? Are they really worth the hefty price tag? That is up to the consumer, but knowing all of the new specs of each phone might help.

The iPhone XR is the most affordable iPhone starting at $749. It comes in red, blue, black, yellow, coral, or white. The XR also is the only iPhone to have a Liquid Retina Display (LRD), which allows the screen to look paper-like and not have pixels visible to the eye. The XR has a battery that lasts 90 minutes longer than the iPhone 8 Plus.

The iPhone XS starts at $999 and the iPhone XS Max starts at $1,099 but can reach up to $1,449 in price. They both have a storage that can reach up to 512GB, the largest that Apple has ever created. The XS Max has a height of 6.5 inches making it the tallest iPhone that Apple has made, whereas the XS has a height of 5.6 inches, the same as the current X. Both iPhones come in silver, gray, or gold.

All three new iPhones share many impressive features. There is an Advanced Face ID that unlocks your phone, open apps, and even buy things with just a single glance at your screen! The camera is back and better than ever with a sharper and more advanced system. The camera even has a new depth control feature which allows control of the depth of field and how blurred the photos can be.

The Apple Series 4 watch has made some huge upgrades as well. The starting price for the Apple Watch Series 4 with GPS is $399 and goes up to $499 with the addition of Cellular. The watch has a new fall detection, allowing the watch to detect a fall and call emergency services. It also has an electrocardiogram (ECG) feature that watches over and monitors your heart. The watch comes in an all-new gold color. The face of the watch is also larger, coming in both 44mm and 42mm.
