Q1. What college are you going to?

McKenna: “Bemidji State University.”

Q2. Why did you choose to attend this college?

McKenna: “It feels a lot different than the St. Cloud area, and I kind of wanted to get a different vibe going to college, get some more diversity.”

Q3. What is your favorite part about the college?

McKenna: “It’s right on the lake so it feels like your going to the cabin instead of actually going to school.”

Q4. What is your least favorite part of the college?

McKenna: “The dorms are not very nice.”

Q5. What was your college visit like?

McKenna: “When I went on my college visit it was just me and two tour guides, so it was kind of a two to one ratio deal.  They brought me all through campus, and they were telling me about how nice it is and how I have to prepare for the super cold winters!”

Q6. What interested you the most about this college?

McKenna: “That is like one of the best education programs in Minnesota, and it’s relatively cheap compared to every other school.”

Q7. What are you looking at majoring in?

McKenna: “Elementary education or special education.”

Q8. What did this college have that the others you visited didn’t?

McKenna: “The on-the-lake cabin vibe and the homey sense of I could actually live here.”
