Arnold Palmer tea from Flat Iron

Flat Iron is a shake shop located in downtown St. Cloud that opened about a month ago. It reopened after being closed for 25 years but was previously a bar. Flat Iron is located next to a railroad in an interestingly shaped building. It was built in 1925 and was formerly known as a cigar and tobacco store, butcher shop, and various dining establishments, but most of the locals know it as the quaint bar, the Flat Iron Tavern. It is quite small, but the perfect space for a shake shop, and it is in a great location.

The owners and employees are very nice and the service is awesome. I tried the Captain Crunch shake, which is said to be one of their most popular shakes. I personally did not like the flavor of it, and it was kind of icy. I also tried the Arnold Palmer tea, and it wasn’t bad, but you didn’t get very much as compared to other shake shops in the area.

Every shake shop we have visited has either cost of $7.50 or $8.00, but at Flat Iron it was a little over $9.00, which is quite pricey for a shake and tea. This shake shop was definitely not one of my favorite places that we have visited, and to me, it is a little too pricey for the quality and quantity you get.
