Attention Disney Lovers, The Walt Disney Company recently announced that they were going to pull all movies from Netflix and start their own streaming service start of January 2018 (when Disney’s deal with Netflix ends). Thus meaning viewers that are currently subscribed to Netflix will now subscribe to yet another online streaming network.  According to Disney, they will need 32 million subscribers to make a profit.

The service will include original Disney movies, TV shows, and shorts; however, Disney’s ABC shows will not be added to the service. Nonetheless, there will still be numerous shows and movies to view.

Some movies that will be added are Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Captain America: Civil War, and various Pixar films. The site will also include original Disney Channel movies like Decedents.   Along with that, there will be 400-500 movies and around 7,000 shows.

Disney’s service will cost around $9.99-$12.99 per month.  Bob Iger (Disney’s CEO) announced that there will be a pay-to-view option on new content.
