The third and final presidential debate took place on October 19 in Las Vegas. Chris Wallace coolly moderated the candidates’ shenanigans for a mean 90 minutes. Read on for highlights and commentary.

This campaigning season has been dirty and polarized, an extended prequel to the third debate. Trump and Hillary did not shake hands. She wore a white suite; he wore a black suit. Their hairstyles were practically identical.

Trump and HRC first discussed appointing Supreme Court Justices, the Second Amendment, and gun violence. They started off with a bang! …Sorry. In short, the Second Amendment isn’t going anywhere, but the Supreme Court will definitely sway left or right depending on the outcome of this election.

Immigration time: Trump still wants a wall to stop “drugs pouring through the border,” and he suggests deporting all the “bad hombres” in the USA. Hillary would like to deport anyone dangerous. She would grant citizenship undocumented immigrants currently residing in the states, which would help to stop undercutting Americans’ wages. In his response, Donald Trump used the word bigly twice, because apparently he still hasn’t come up with a less silly word. Somehow the conversation switched to Putin and Russia’s interference with the election, and everyone started yelling.

Moving on to money. Trump wants to get rid of NAFTA in favor of free trade, and wishes to cut taxes. HRC advocates investment in new industries in hopes of creating jobs and tackling the debt. Sounds counterintuitive.

So far we’ve hit guns, immigration, and the economy. Moving to sex. Namely the accusations of sexual misconduct against both candidates/Bill Clinton. Nine women have accused Trump of assault; he believes the accounts were produced by the Clinton campaign. Same goes for violence at his rallies. Trump segues by saying, “Honestly, I’d love to talk about ISIS.”

However, they don’t talk about ISIS next. Trump refused to pledge to accept the outcome of the election, instead saying, “I will look at it at the time.” I personally don’t mind if Trump thinks the election is rigged, but screwing with the democratic process is unacceptable.

Now, Trump and Hillary talk about ISIS. Argue about ISIS. Yell about ISIS. Chris Wallace is trying really hard.

The next question is about the fate of entitlements such as Social Security and Medicare. Trump wants repeal and replace Obamacare to free up resources. HRC recommends taxing the wealthy and corporations to pay for this as well.

Clinton ends with a plea for middle class votes; Trump concludes by listing a slew of issues and and general solutions.
