TGIFF (Thank Goodness It’s Flannel Friday) Pt. 2

Flannel Friday is becoming a larger trend throughout SHS, week 2 took place on March 4th with many high schoolers and teachers participating.

Tessa-FlannelOlivia Wheeler

The first person interviewed was senior, Tessa Hager. She prefers to wear her flannels with jeans and combat books. She owns only two flannels, but loves wearing them. Her favorite flannel to wear is the one that she was wearing last Friday, her red one. She loves wearing flannels because she believes that they are super comfortable and they are really in style. When asked, on a scale from 1 to 10 how sincere Tessa would describe her flannel, she replied with a strong 7 and sometimes an 8.

Lauren-FlannelOlivia Wheeler

The second person interviewed for flannel Friday is freshman, Lauren Lindmeier. Lauren doesn’t wear just the casual flannel shirt, she prefers to wear flannel dresses. She used to own 8 flannels, but she just got 3 new flannels, so now Lauren owns 11 flannels, how exciting!! Lauren prefers to wear the authentic Paul Bunyan flannel aka: a red and black flannel. She wears flannels because they’re comfortable, and she loves feeling like a lumberjack. When asked, on a scale from 1 to 10 how sincere Lauren would describe her flannel, she replied with, “It’s off the scale, like way off the scale. I can’t even describe how sincere my flannel is.”

Matt-FlannelOlivia Wheeler

The next person interviewed is senior, Matt Immelman. Matt prefers to wear his flannels buttoned up. He owns 3 different flannels, and he loves all of them. His favorite flannel to wear is the one that he was wearing last Friday, aka: his green one. He wears flannels because, “They’re comfy and they feel nice.” When asked, on a scale from 1 to 10 how sincere Matt would describe his flannel, he replied with an 8.5.

Cora-FlannelOlivia Wheeler

Next interviewed was sophomore, Cora Cielinski. She prefers to wear her flannels with a tank top underneath with the actual flannel unbuttoned. Her favorite color flannel to wear is red, and she owns about 5 flannels. Cora also wears flannels because they are comfy. When asked, on a scale from 1 to 10 how sincere Cora would describe her flannel, she replied with, “Uhm, I don’t know? Maybe like an 8?”

Kayley-FlannelOlivia Wheeler

The last person interviewed for flannel Friday was senior, Kayley Isaacson. Normally Kayley prefers to wear just the normal flannel, but last Friday Kayley decided to whip out the flannel romper. Her mother just recently bought this amazing flannel romper for her (what a wonderful woman). She loves wearing red flannels, but she also likes wearing navy and blue flannels too. She’s not a big fan of the pink colored flannels, she likes more of the calm colored flannels. She wears flannels because she, “Loves flannels, flannels are comfy and they look great on everybody. Which is why everyone should wear them.” When asked, on a scale from 1 to 10 how sincere Kayley would describe her flannel, she replied with, “This flannel is way off the scale, like maybe a 500 if not more.”

The next Flannel Friday will take place on Friday, March 11th! Get pumped Sabres!
