The LeSabre

Let me tell you a story... Once upon a time (last winter) a group of wonderful people (teenage journalists) decided to have a celebration (an excuse to eat candy and insane amounts of Christmas cookies).  During this winter season tradition (birthed from the need to build camaraderie), this group of teenagers thought it would be fun to see what kind of junk they could find around their houses and pawn off on someone else. One lone student (Levi) braved the dark depths of his closet to find a really good white elephant gift for the winter celebration.  It was dusty, it was creepy, it had a cryptic message on the bottom, and it was perfect. cat2 Flash forward to the actual celebration day.  Emotions were running wild (probably because of all the sugar) and the stakes of the white elephant game were high (who wants other people's crap?!?).  It was my turn; I rolled the doubles.  I chose the biggest gift there was.  It was wrapped in a beaten down cardboard box, sealed by duct tape (not cool duct tape, just the plain old silver kind).  I knew this gift was meant for me.  I couldn't believe we played the rest of the game and no one tried to steal this magnificent gift from me. Can you guess what was in the duct taped box??? Anyway, so back to my profile page...who am I?  A cheesy story teller. A journalism advisor.  An English teacher. A weird porcelain cat owner. A person who loves what she gets to do for a job every single day.
