The Twins landed a huge offseason deal with Korean baseball star, Byung Ho Park. The Twins won the bidding war against the Red Sox with a bid of 12 million dollars. On December 1st, the Twins and Byung Ho Park agreed to a deal that will have Ho Park in a Twins uniform for the next four years making 12 million dollars over that span.

Byung Ho Park has been dominating in the Korean baseball league, over the past two years he has hit 105 homeruns, 292 runs batted in, and his batting average has been over .300 as well. He would be a very helpful asset for the Twins in the fact that they ranked toward the bottom of the league in homeruns.

Byung Ho Park is going to need some time to adjust to the quality of pitching in the states, but with his raw power it should be an easy adjustment. He does create an issue in that he does play first base and Joe Mauer is at that spot; Miguel Sano is the DH and Trevor Plouffe at 3rd, but I have thought of a wonderful idea what the Twins could and should do. The Twins need to trade Trevor Plouffe for a couple of young pitching prospects, keep Joe Mauer at first, Miguel Sano at third, and Byung Ho Park at the everyday DH.

Twins fans should be excited to watch the Korean star hit massive homeruns for the next four years.
