Taken at 45.666126, -94.235738, this photo is of Tiana Mick standing in the midst of a snow storm in some evergreens. Upon waking up to a steady snowfall, I knew I couldn’t just sit inside. I had to get out and capture some photos. So we went out and carefully parked on a dirt two track, avoiding sliding into the ditch. Then trekked about 100 feet into a forest of evergreens and stumbled upon a nice path leading farther in. We stopped by the entry of this path to take this picture. Wrapped up in a blanket from my car to fight the cold, she stood next to an enormous evergreen and I took it right when she began to laugh at something. Even in the most brutal conditions, you can find happiness and joy. See you next week.
